Sean’s had exciting news this week … he’s now a regional finalist in the Wedding Industry Awards 2021.
After his nomination in the Wedding DJ category, then votes and feedback from customers, the TWIA judges spent time reviewing all nominations and votes before choosing their regional shortlist for best wedding DJ . With his work across the South East, Sean’s now a Regional Finalist for the South East.
Our customers know how hard Sean works to make every event special, particularly weddings! It’s certainly fair to say that he really appreciates this recognition, thanks to The Wedding Industry Awards and to the customers who voted for him …

“I'm extremely excited, over the moon, first of all that we've been nominated, and then that we've made it to the regional finals. I'm thrilled that previous customers have taken the time to vote and to share their experiences, a huge thank you to everyone who did so.
Reaching the regional finals also means a lot for the business because, thanks to the positive feedback from my wedding customers, my whole goal this year was to focus on the wedding industry and the wedding side of SOS. But of course, because of Covid, we haven't been able to do nearly as much as we wanted to! Instead we've been trying to help our wedding customers with their postponed arrangements and revising the business so we can offer what's needed to make weddings even more special when we're allowed to celebrate in a big way once again.
So, I've been using some of the time to buy new products for the business and to source the items our wedding customers have been asking for.
For instance, being the best wedding DJ I can be means paying attention to more than the music ... it's about the whole package. We've been able to source some wonderful white products - the white stands, white speaker covers and the white stage so the DJ set up complements exactly what our customers want for their wedding. The wonder of white is that it also creates that fabulous blank canvas for lights and digital assets so we can add variety to what we (as DJs) do - and how we do it. We can now fit with any wedding theme and what's more, we're not finished yet!
Our aim is to build our business in the background so that everyone can celebrate in the way they want to, once things ease. So this news from the Wedding Industry Awards is fantastic boost for us, it shows we're on track to bring the best to our wedding customers and we're delighted!"
The next exciting step is the regional judging of that shortlist, to see if Sean makes it through to the UK national heats. The regional winners will be announced at a virtual event -date to be confirmed – so do check back for updates!
