Here at SOS Entertainment, it’s a fact that our Sean just loves to DJ weddings. So it’s no surprise that his passion for this type of party is frequently recognised in the fabulous feedback from his wedding couples. And it’s this fantastic feedback that means Sean’s reached the Regional Finals of The Wedding Industry Awards, for his wedding DJ services, two years running!
So it’s with much excitement that Sean’s attending The Wedding Industry Awards Regional Finals on Monday 24th January 2022 at the Old Thorns Hotel in Liphook. This is quite a distance from Sean’s local area but, after last year’s virtual awards evening (photo above is from the virtual event), it’s definitely worth it to be able to attend the event! Sean’s really looking forward to being there on the night and networking with other DJs, South East venues and wedding suppliers. And of course, he’s also thrilled to have the chance to meet The Wedding Industry Awards team and judges in person at last!
"Yes ... I'm super-excited about Monday 24th January! This is our second year in the awards and as Regional Finalists ... last year we were runners up but fingers crossed this year we might actually win it!
It really would be an amazing thing because 2021 was understandably such a quiet year for wedding bookings, and across the events and wedding industries. But everyone across the wedding industry is so supportive of each other and it's such a privilege to be nominated and to take part in The Wedding Industry Awards."
But whatever happens at the awards, Sean’s already a winner with his customers! And as a result of recommendations and huge interest in Sean’s personalised wedding packages, 2022 is already looking pretty fantastic compared to the last 2 years. What’s more, as the wedding industry, plus other parties and events all spring back into life, this looks set to grow …
"It's great to be back behind our DJ booths - and of course we've added lots of options and extended our wedding entertainment packages to help give our couples exactly what they want after waiting so long for their weddings!
We already have far more bookings for 2022 than in 2021 and we're also being asked if we can book ahead to dj weddings in 2023 too, so things are definitely looking and feeling much brighter. With the TWIA Regional Finals on Monday too, and the chance to meet lots of other wedding suppliers, we have plenty to look forward to and we're so excited to see what Monday (and the rest of the year) brings."
