Well 2021 is done, but 2022 is coming through with lots of positives already
Yes, as Sean shared in his Christmas video, he has lots planned and plenty to offer as the year opens up! So now, with 2021 firmly behind us, Sean’s new year greeting is all about looking ahead to everything he has in store (and out for hire) this new year.
"I'm truly excited about our first wedding in 2022, which is in the middle of January! It's going to be one of the biggest weddings SOS Entertainment has been hired for, so it's like starting 2022 off in a very special way.
“The amount of items we've included in the couple's personalised package is just phenomenal and it brings the very first outing for our wedding crazy golf! I always try to add in extras for my wedding couples, but to get this year started I've gone above and beyond to add in treats and surprises to help take wedding entertainment in a fun direction for their guests and in a whole new way for SOS Entertainment!
Then also in January we have The Wedding Industry Awards regional finals. Being in the shortlist for 2022 is a fantastic thing for me after such a long, locked down year in 2021, so I'm truly looking forward to the outcome and what it could mean for the business and my wedding customers.”

And as you know, Sean’s love of shopping and surprises means there are plenty of new items to be added to the party hire list! Which means that Sean’s greeting the new year with lots of new items waiting to hit the website. And it’s not a spoiler to say that Sean’s really gone large on party entertainment for all the family for 2022 …
“2021 was such a limiting year for everyone, including kids, so we’re very excited that 2022 brings the chance to share all the special items we've bought in 2021 with kids' parties and events in mind. Our mobile play space, the fantastic soft play trailer is a good example of something we bought and have been prepping ready for hire, so it'll be fun to see it on the road and making life easier for anyone running kids' parties and events. It'll also be great to see kids relaxing and having fun in 2022 too!"

“And of course, we have our other golf course! Yes, as well as that wedding themed one, we have another fun course which is ideal to hire for all kinds of other parties, celebrations and events."
With the wedding themed crazy golf hire out from January and delivery of a second course to hire out for general parties and events, Sean’s got plenty of options for outdoor entertainment across the year. All the time ‘variants’ are possibly out there, providing what customers need for outdoor events is very important for Sean. Reconnecting
After last year’s lockdowns, part of Sean’s new year greeting is also to share how much he’s looking forward to being ‘out there’ and making new connections in 2022.
And things are already off to a fine start when it comes to the wedding party industry. Sean, plus some of his extensive DJ kit, will be at 3 wedding fayres already booked for 2022. He’s also connected with both Hitched and A Kentish Ceremony to help raise his profile in his local south coast area, and to reach more customers in the wider UK.
Local events are also likely to feature more in the calendar this year, so Sean hopes his ever-growing one-stop-party-hire-shop will be used by event organisers and venues looking for reliable suppliers.
“As well as connecting with new customers, families and couples enjoying celebrations, I love to talk to others in the party entertainment industry, such as event managers, party planners and venues. So provided things settle into more of a life as we used to know it pre-pandemic, I hope to grow the business in 2022 by meeting new customers and new connections at all kinds of events and venues as the year unfolds."

In 2021, Sean supported several charities by donating services and equipment for events, and hopes to to continue this work in 2022 too.
“Despite there being some very difficult times in the recent past, I feel very fortunate. Local charities and helpful organisations have had such a struggle, so I like to pay my own good fortune forwards where I can, and I can't see that stopping in 2022!"
