Getting started

 

  • Once you’ve booked, the SOS Entertainment team will be your go-to group for advice and tips on how to get the party started.
  • At the consultation stage, we’ll check on your music preferences and can offer plenty of ideas – from assured floor-fillers for getting started, to requests and personal favourites for keeping the party going.
  • We’ll also work with your likes and dislikes, needs and likely guest preferences, to build a picture of the type of party you’d like. In collaboration or independently (depending on what you need) we’ll create a party play list to suit everyone.
  • Want a few tunes during the event to keep the kids happy (and give the parents a break)? That’s no problem, we can sort out a kids’ slot or two to include into your party tunes.
  • Need a big build up to an announcement or speech? This is one of Sean’s DJ specialties. From baby and engagement announcements, to wedding, birthday and anniversary speeches and toasts – discuss it with Sean and he’ll sort you out a special way to make this memorable. Remember, pyrotechnics, lights and visuals can be personalised to make this moment even more special!
  • Sean encourages everyone to get involved on the night, so we’ll also introduce you to our virtual request facility. By using our easy text contact form, you and your guests can text us your requests to ensure the party offers something for everyone.

Because it’s at the party that Sean’s decades of experience as a professional DJ really come out to play. His extensive knowledge of music across the years is astounding:

    • From the classic favourites of the 50’s and 60’s – great for golden oldies and anniversaries.
    • To the glam rock of the 70’s and 80’s – very popular and weddings and birthdays from 30+
    • Across to the mixed delights of the 90’s and 00’s – ideal for coming of age parties.
    • Then right up to the contemporary floor-fillers of the recent decade.
    • What’s more, if you want something in particular and he doesn’t have it, he’ll find it!

You name it, whether you’re after country, reggae, rock n roll, old-school pop or the latest dance chart hits, Sean’s aim is to get it absolutely right on the night.

Pricing and options

Overview of DJ booth options and prices are above in the basket selection section, including 4 hours of DJ services with various set up options:

  • £300 Basic DJ booth set up
  • £750 50″ Plasma screen booth
  • £1000 2 x 50″ Plasma screens + speakers
  • £1500 4 x 50″ Plasma screens + speakers booth
  • £1500 Mobile Disco DJ booth for outdoor parties

 

+ £50 each hour (or part hour) thereafter.
 
Depending on your chosen venue, we can also add other products and services to your special event, such as our LED dancefloor, live music, a prosecco wall to keep the refreshments flowing and a magic photo booth to capture the fun of your party.

 

If your venue requires equipment to be carried up flights of stairs (and there’s no lift available) please contact us first!
 
Full and valid liability insurance, plus full member of both the AMPdjAlliance of mobile and party DJs and the National Association of Disc Jockeys.
